I'm not an ArchiCAD user so am trying everything I can find on the net and hopefully someone can shed some light on this. I'm just wondering if there is there anything within ArchiCAD that needs tweaking to get this work. Then, use the slider under Cursor speed to increase or decrease the cursor speed. Press Windows + S, type mouse settings, and select Open. I have tried upgrading the spec, adjusting mouse sensitivity, disable mouse acceleration etc but nothing seems to work. If your wireless mouse acts too slow or too fast, check that the speed settings are up to scratch. On the guest machine (that you are remoting into) simply edit the current Windows theme and change the mouse cursor. On Linux, gnome comes with desktop sharing, gnome remote desktop 3.22.0. I conducted the latest experiments and found that when accessing Linux through Windows, vncview 7.5.1 is used. The faster he moves, the further the cursor is from the line. Thankfully the fix is a pretty simple one. It seems that sometimes the menu 'UseLocalCursor' does not work after being set. I help a disabled veterans who is visually impaired so we were completely screwed over with this new security 'feature'. I’d definitely like to hear of a permanent solution to this as it’s damn annoying. Now all I can do is look at the remote desktop. A quick way I find of getting the cursor back is to press CTRL-ALT-END when in the remote session (same as CTRL-ALT-DEL on the local machine), then pressing cancel to get back to the main desktop. Every movement within the application is fast and smooth and is comparable if not faster than running ArchiCAD on the local machine except the mouse cursor that doesn't stick to the line when he draws or moving the cursor up and down. Somehow the security that has been updated, now prevents teamviewers purpose. Since Mojave, Remote Desktop control applications have to be given explicit permissions to be allowed to control the desktop. Press Windows Key + R, type regedit and press Enter. In addition, make sure that everything is set as it should by following the instructions provided by the Remote Desktop Assistant application. The remote desktop connection is stable and machine is highly spec that can accomodate multiple users. That should resolve some of the DPI problems inflicted by changes of the hardware configuration. Hi ArchiCAD experts! Does anyone here has any idea how to get the mouse cursor to follow the line when you are drawing in ArchiCAD? I'm trying to solve an issue for a user who is using ArchiCAD on a Azure virtual desktop (GPU optimised N series). Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is used in a Windows environment for remote connections.
